PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide jeans hardly getting worn out even if repeatedly worn and washed although having good wearing feeling because its waist belt is stretchable, in particular, preventing the back part of the waist belt from getting worn out so as not to get apart from the waist even if a wearer stoops down. SOLUTION: The jeans are made as follows: using stretch denim whose stretchability in a transverse direction (an x-axis direction shown in Fig.1) is larger than that in a longitudinal direction (a y-axis direction shown in Fig.1) as a denim cloth D; using a part cut out from a belt-shaped section along the transverse direction of the denim cloth D as a denim cloth D<SB>1</SB>forming a face cloth of the left front part of the waist belt and a denim cloth D<SB>3</SB>forming a face cloth for the right front part of the waist belt; and using a part cut out from the belt-shaped section along the longitudinal direction of the denim cloth D as a denim cloth D<SB>5</SB>forming a face cloth of the back part of the waist belt.
