PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone device and a telephone system that can utilize an IP telephone instead of the hand set of a PC-side soft phone dynamically without requiring any presetting only by connecting a PC to the IP telephone with a built-in hub in an office environment of free layout, and can receive both of a call to the IP telephone and that to the soft phone. SOLUTION: The IP telephone has a means for reading own telephone number information, and a means for notifying a PC side of telephone number information read via a network. The PC has a means for receiving a notification from the IP telephone. By such configuration, the PC can be connected to the IP telephone without requiring the presetting. When the soft phone is installed in the PC, the call to the soft phone is transferred to the IP telephone automatically, thus utilizing the IP telephone instead of the hand set of the soft phone.
