PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding door capable of improving sound insulating properties. SOLUTION: This sliding door comprises a sliding door body 10 which is provided slidably with respect to a member on the other side and which slides to open/close an opening of a structure, and a door tail-side gap closing means 200 for wholly or partially closing a door tail-side gap 105 between the member on the other side and the side of the door tail 102 of the sliding door body 10. The means 200 is equipped with door tail-side gap closing elements 210 and 220 which are composed of an elastic material as a base material and which are provided in at least either a portion on side of the door tail 102 of the sliding door body 10 or the side of the member on the side.
