PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for a vehicle capable of restraining a difference of each of blow off temperature to occupant's upper part and feet indoor in a high level mode without a large scale structural change. SOLUTION: A communicating passage 22 is provided between a first vent duct 15a and a first foot duct 17a, and a communicating passage 23 is provided between a second vent duct 15b and a second foot duct 17b. Consequently, air-conditioning air is supplied to the occupant's upper part through the vent ducts 15a, 15b and the air-conditioning air is supplied to the occupant's feet through the foot ducts 17a, 17b after miniaturizing the temperature difference of each of the air-conditioning air by mixing each of the air-conditioning air in the vent ducts 15a, 15b and the foot ducts 17a, 17b through the communicating passages 22, 23 in the high level mode.
