<p>Described is use of a tumor-suppressor nucleic acid, which is a nucleic acid that encodes a tumor-suppressor protein, comprising a wild-type p53 protein or retinoblastoma (RB) protein, in combination with a polyprenyl-protein transferase inhibitor selected from a geranylgeranyl-protein transferase inhibitor or a farnesyl-protein transferase (FPT) inhibitor, which is selected from the group consisting of FPT39, a farnesylated peptide mimetic compound, a fused-ring tricyclic benzocycloheptapyridine and a farnesyl derivative, for the preparation of a pharmaceutical composition for treating mammalian or hyperproliferative cells.</p> |
