A character string correspondent sound generation system is provided to transmit characters by matching the characters with sounds when the characters are written and transmitted in a mobile communication terminal or a computer terminal, so that the sounds can be provided to a receiver together with the characters. A message input unit(110) inputs a text message to be sent to a terminal(100) when the message is transmitted to a user transmission terminal(100). A message setup unit(120) inputs the message, and sets a type of the message to a sound message. A user authentication unit(200) confirms whether the user is a service member subscriber in connection with a communication network. A user DB(210) stores user information by interworking with the user authentication unit(200). If the user is the service member subscriber, a sound generator(300) receives the inputted message to generate a correspondent sound, and sends the message to a receiver terminal(400). The receiver terminal(400) receives the message and the sound.
