<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the engagement of a power transmission mechanism from being released by excessive loads and a seat from being rapidly lowered in a balance training apparatus which imparts exercise loads simulating horse riding to a subject by swinging a seat where the subject sits at least in a vertical direction. <P>SOLUTION: A swing mechanism 3 comprises a motor 13, a box body 3f housing it, a drive shaft 14 for which a worm wheel 14b is rotationally driven by the worm 13b of the motor 13, elevating and lowering levers 17 and 18 having shaft holes 17a and 18a to which the eccentric shafts 14c and 14d are freely rotatably fitted, a pedestal 19 which is supported by them and to which the seat is loaded, and a regulation shaft 16 which prevents the falling of the elevating and lowering levers 17 and 18, and thus back and forth and up and down swing is made possible. Then, the tooth shape of the worm 13b and the worm wheel 1b is engraved in the direction of applying force in the direction of forcibly fitting the worm 13b to the output shaft 13a of the motor 13 when the seat is sunk by the load. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
