PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die head with a light weight capable of being manufactured at a low cost. SOLUTION: The die head comprises a pair of die head half bodies 12, 13 having a structure that a slit for delivering a coating liquid and a manifold 17 for feeding the coating liquid to the slit by assembling so as to make them opposed to each other, and side plates 14 arranged at both ends, wherein at least a pair of die head half bodies 12, 13 is formed by an engineering plastic such as polyphenylene sulfide.
