PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spool for fishing line which can be disposed by burning like paper garbage discarded from ordinary homes without separating from spools, packages and the like which became unnecessary after using the fishing line; a stop ring for end lines of the fishing line, a package case for fishing line and a fishing line article unit including those. SOLUTION: The spool for fishing line comprises a cylindrical unit 2 for winding the fishing line, flange units 3 installed on both ends of the cylindrical unit 2, a shaft hole 5 installed in the center of the cylindrical unit 2 and two or more libs connecting the cylindrical unit 2 and the shaft hole 5. In the spool for fishing line, the cylindrical unit 2, the flange units 3, the shaft hole 5 and the libs are molded using a mixture comprising 20-50wt.% thermoplastic resin and/or 50-80 wt.% pulp and the peak stress when a pressure is loaded from the periphery to the center is in the range of 1-30kN.
