PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electroconductive cloth assuring the electroconductivity as an electrode, capable of easily being colored by a publicly known and used method, without having any incompatible feeling on using it as a usual cloth in view of its fashionability including touch, flexibility, etc., and also a flat electrode excellent in fashionability by using the electroconductive cloth. SOLUTION: This electroconductive cloth consisting of electroconductive yarns obtained by plating yarns and non-electroconductive yarns has≥70% of the surface area on one side of the cloth is occupied by the electroconductive yarns, and≥70% of the surface area on the other side is occupied by the non-electroconductive yarns. The electroconductive cloth attached with an insulation layer is obtained by pasting the electroconductive cloth with the electric insulation layer. Further, the flat electrode has the inside surfaces,≥70% of which is occupied by the electroconductive yarns of the electroconductive cloths, and which is formed by laminating them interposing the insulation layer there between.
