PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the safety by automatically shutting off the power supply from an outlet when the temperature is abnormal when an electric device stored in a storage body is used while a door is closed, and to prevent the power supply from being shut off from the outlet because of the erroneous detection when the door is opened. SOLUTION: The storage cabinet comprises the door 6 which can open/close an opening part 1 of the storage body 3; the outlet 27 inside the storage body 3; and a temperature detecting means 31 for detecting the temperature inside the storage body 3. If at least a prescribed temperature is detected by the temperature detecting means 31 while the door 6 is closed, the power supply from the outlet 27 is shut off. However, if the door 6 is opened, the power supply from the outlet is not shut off even if the temperature detected by the temperature detecting means 31 is the prescribed temperature, preset as abnormal temperature, or higher.
