The mobile device (1) has an electrical potential measuring device (10) for measuring an electrical potential in a patient, and a defibrillator (11) for inducing the electrical potential in the patient. Electrodes (2, 3) with needle-like extensions are provided to penetrate into the top skin layer of the patient. The needle-like extensions have a coating made of a conductive material, in particular gold or silver. The extensions are made of pure silicon, silicon containing material, porous silicon and silicon carbide.
