The floor panel consist of a supporting plate (1) of lignocellulose-containing material and a bonding agent. It has an upper cover layer, a central layer (3), a lower covering layer (4) and lateral edges. The supporting plate contains particles (5) for increasing the specific weight that are heavier than the material containing lignocellulose and the bonding agent. An independent claim is also included for a method of manufacturing an inventive device.
