A hand held sprayer has a sub assembly of wet parts, which hold or transmit fluid to be sprayed, which can be unlocked and detached from the remainder of the sprayer as a single unit, in order to be cleaned of the sprayable fluid. The sub assembly includes a spray rip, pump cylinder and piston and paint cup 60 components, as well as additional components. The sub assembly may be released by the pressing of release buttons 54, and the progression of the removal of the sub assembly may be seen, following the arrows in fig.2. The apparatus may permit convenient cleaning of the apparatus between spray applications. |
