A medium for growing king oyster mushroom(Pleurotus eryngii) comprising Coco Peat and mineral mixtures is provided to increase the production capacity of mushroom by 30 to 40% as compared to a conventional medium and reduce environmental pollution from effluent thereof remarkably and the cost of production by using low cost raw materials as main ingredient. A medium for growing king oyster mushroom comprises: 50 to 60% by weight of Coco Peat, 0.0025% by weight of mineral mixtures, 29.9975% by weight of rice bran and 10 to 20% by weight of sawdust of Douglas fir. The mineral mixtures contain 28.7% by weight of magnesium sulfate, 25% by weight of zinc sulfate, 36% by weight of iron sulfate, 9.6% by weight of copper sulfate, 0.31% by weight of calcium iodate, 0.3% by weight of cobalt sulfate and 0.09% by weight of sodium selenite. |
