An industrial coated fabric and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to prevent a coating layer from getting stripped off under an ambience of high temperature, low temperature, or high humidity, by surface-treating an industrial crude paper with a silane-based primer before forming the coating layer on the crude paper so as to enhance the adhesive strength between the crude paper and the coating layer. An industrial coated fabric comprises an industrial crude paper, a silicon coating layer formed on one surface or both surfaces of the industrial crude paper, and a silane-based primer disposed between the industrial crude paper and the silicon coating layer. For manufacturing the industrial fabric, firstly, one surface or both surfaces of the industrial crude paper are treated with the silane-based primer. The silicon coating layer is formed on the surface of the industrial crude paper, which is treated with the silane-based primer. The industrial crude paper is a raw fabric for air bags. |
