A data communication method using a touch screen of an MS(Mobile Station) is provided to control the operation of a different system device and receive data from the different system device through a touch screen. An MS is changed to a tablet mode and transmits a communication request signal(Req_Sig) to a PC(Personal Computer)(S301). As the PC recognizes the MS, a communication channel is established between the MS and the PC(S302). The MS transmits a data transmission mode signal(Data_Mode_Sig) to the PC and is changed to an MS data transmission mode(MS_Data_Mode)(S303). Upon receiving the MS data transmission mode signal(Data_Mode_Sig), the PC is changed to the MS data transmission mode(MS_Data_Mode) and when it receives location information(Location_Info) from the MS, an editing window having the same width-length ratio as that of a touch screen of the MS is activated on a monitor of the PC(S304). When MS data of a certain region of the touch screen is copied, the MS transmits the MS data to the PC(S305). If the MS data has a text format, the PC directly transfers it to the monitor(S306). If the MS data has an image format, the PC scans an image and transfers the detected image data to the monitor to activate it on the monitor(S307). The PC edits the MS data(S308) and displays whether to transmit the edited MS data to the MS. When a user accepts transmission of the edited MS data to the MS, the PC transmits the edited MS data(Edit_MS_data) to the MS(S309). The MS transfers the edited MS data(MS_Data) to the touch screen to activate it thereon(S310).
