THE MASSPRODUCTION METHOD OF MAMMALIAN EMBRYOS BY TREATMENT OF PROSTACYCLIN ANALOG

A production method of mammalian embryos is provided to increase matured embryos, development rate and speed from embryos to blastocysts, and numbers of inner cell mass and cell feeder layer cells by treatment of prostacyclin analog, thereby mass-producing the mammalian embryos having improved quantitative and qualitative properties. A production method of mammalian embryos comprises the steps of: (1) collecting follicle embryos from mammals except human; (2) recovering immature embryos from the collected follicle embryos; (3) in vitro maturing the recovered immature embryos; (4) dissolving frozen sperms and carrying out in vitro fertilization of them with the matured embryos; and (5) culturing the in vitro fertilized embryos in a medium containing a prostacyclin analog selected from iloprost, ZK 36374 and 15(R)-iloprost, wherein the mammal is cow or pig.
