A fishway block is provided to let water flow always even at the water channel with a low quantity of water by storing up water flowing from the upper reaches to the lower reaches and discharging water to the lower reaches at a time. A fishway block(B) includes a channel works formed on a gutter wall(10) which is a vertical wall between the bottom(1) and two side walls(2,2') to flow out water to the lower reaches, and a fishway control unit(15) controlling the opening width of the channel works, wherein the fishway control unit has a water gate control unit(20) provided with an opening control plate moved on a movable shaft of the gutter wall to open and close the channel works, and a floating body unit(30) connected with one side of the open control plate by a rope and moved vertically along the gutter wall by buoyancy to operate the water gate control unit. |
