A method and system for market research includes extending an offer to grant an ownership interest such as an equity interest or security in a company in exchange for receiving feedback from respondent members of a target market. The company m ay use the feedback in developing and launching a new product. The feedback may relate to desired design specifications, pricing, marketing approaches, and suggest ed new ideas for the new product. The various options are presented to the respondents as text, audio, video, and in combinations thereof.
