The plate (5) has a flat edge (51) covering a lower end (35) of a section (3) of a lateral slide (1) with the flat edge with respect to a cutting edge (351) of the lower end, where the plate is made of flexible synthetic material. The flat edge is inclined at a non-zero angle (alpha) with respect to the cutting edge, and has a central slit of shape corresponding to a longitudinal groove of the section. The central slit is placed in extension with the groove when the plate covers the lower end of the section.
