A mounting 10 for a screw-in calf teat has a threaded internal bore into which the thread of the teat can screwed and a mounting spigot and flange 16 which seats within and is mounted to a turret T protruding from the wall W of the feed container. Thus the same arrangement of turret and cap 20 which is used to mount a flanged teat can, in combination with the mounting 10, be used to mount a screw-in teat to the feed container wall. In one embodiment the cap 20 is integral with the mounting 10.
