PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reduction gear which allows the setting of a large reduction ratio besides enhancing the selectivity for an elastic member. SOLUTION: A reduction gear 20 is equipped with a planetary gear mechanism 60 for decelerating the rotating motion of an input rotor 40 by the planetary motion of a planetary gear 50 to be transmitted to an output rotator 24, a sun gear 30 rotating while meshing with the planetary gear 50 and an elastic member 34 for energizing the sun gear 30 in the rotating direction.
