A method for culturing the hyphae of Agaricus bisporus and a culture medium therefor are provided to reduce the possibility of culture medium contamination and enhance the productivity for the hyphae. A method for culturing the hyphae of Agaricus bisporus comprises the step of culturing the hyphae or spores of Agaricus bisporus in a liquid culture medium containing 10g/l~30g/l of crystallized sugar obtained from raw sugar cane. The culture medium further comprises: 1g/l~10g/l of sodium nitrate as a nitrogen source and 1g/l~10g/l of yeast extracts. In the culture medium, an initial pH is 6.0~6.5, a culture temperature is 25~28°C, and a stirring velocity of the culture container is 150~250rpm. The hyphae of Agaricus bisporus is dispersed by a blender before being inoculated. The method further comprises the step of preculturing the hyphae or spores of Agaricus bisporus in a liquid culture medium containing 15~25g/l of potato dextrose broth, 1~10g/l of yeast extract, 2~5g/l of malt extract, and 2~5g/l of soytone. |
