A stepping motor is provided to prevent deterioration of an elastic member by installing the elastic member between a cover plate or an end cover and a thrust holder. A stepping motor includes a bracket(110), a lead screw(160), a rotor(167), a housing(120), a stator(170), a cover plate(140), a thrust holder(150), a pivot bearing(130), and an elastic member(180). The bracket includes a rest plate(111), a first side plate(113), and a second plate(115). The first and second plates are formed on both ends of the rest plate. The lead screw is installed through the first side plate and rotates reversibly. The rotor is fixed on an outer circumference of an end of the lead screw. The housing is coupled on the first side plate embracing the rotor. The stator is coupled inside the housing embracing the rotor and rotates the rotor. The cover plate is coupled to the housing and is concentric with the housing. The thrust holder is coupled to the cover plate and the stator movably lengthwise of the lead screw, is concentric with the cover plate, supports an end of the lead screw. The pivot bearing is coupled to the second side plate, is concentric with the thrust holder, and supports an other end of the lead screw. The elastic member is formed between the cover plate and the thrust holder, and supports the thrust holder.
