<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a check valve in which the flow performance of a drain pipe is less lowered. <P>SOLUTION: This check valve comprises a valve element 21 for openably closing the flow passage of a downstream side pipe and a support body for supporting the valve element 21. The valve element 21 is swingably supported on the support body through a movable pin. The valve element 21 comprises a first plate-like piece 23, a second plate-like piece 23b, and a third plate-like piece 23c formed by dividing a generally oval-shaped plate-like body 23 laterally into three parts and a rubber sheet 24 joined to the upstream side of each of the plate-like pieces 23a, 23b, 23c. The first plate-like piece 23, the second plate-like piece 23b, and the third plate-like piece 23c are integrally connected to each other through the rubber sheet 24. The valve element 21 is formed in a flat plate shape when closed, and bent along the curved shape of the upper inner wall of the downstream side pipe when opened. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
