[MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The projection device includes a light emitting member (11) for emitting a light beam (L) toward a predetermined screen (Sn), a two-axis actuator on which the light emitting member (11) is mounted in such a manner that the direction of the light beam (L) can be freely changed, a detection member for detecting a posture of the two-axis actuator, and a control unit for generating a feedback signal for controlling the posture from data outputted from the detection member and giving it to the two-axis actuator. In this projection device, the detection member detects the posture of the movable portion and can control the posture by itself. Accordingly, it is possible to reduce the size of the entire device. Moreover, by using a semiconductor laser as a light source (11a) of the light emitting member (11), it is possible to output a bright and clear image for a long period of time.
