An electro-optical device, an image processing device, and an electronic apparatus are provided to reduce the number of bits of an image signal by using a signal compensating unit for compensating image signals corresponding to high and low brightness through a gamma table. An electro-optical device includes a display unit(10c) and an image signal processing circuit(170). The display unit includes plural pixel units for forming a display area on a substrate. The image signal processing circuit generates image signals, which are used for setting high brightness higher than a first brightness in the pixel units of one sub-frame divided from a frame when the brightness to be displayed in the pixel units is the first brightness and for setting low brightness lower than the first brightness in the pixel units of another sub-frame. |
