<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a conventional black zirconia that a uniform sintered compact is not obtained since the density, strength and color tone of the sintered compact are changed by a sintering temperature, and color transfer and pores on the surface of the sintered compact are caused by the volatilization of coloring components. <P>SOLUTION: Zirconia-containing powder comprising 2-6 wt.% coloring agent of (Co<SB>1-x</SB>Zn<SB>x</SB>)(Fe<SB>1-y</SB>Al<SB>y</SB>)<SB>2</SB>O<SB>4</SB>(0≤x≤0.5, 0≤y≤0.5), 0.05-6 wt.% Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>and 3.6-7.10 wt.% Y<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>is used to be sintered at 1,300-1,500°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
