<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device capable of easily consolidating the format of overlay data. <P>SOLUTION: A graphic in an image shown by printing data received from a plurality of superior devices with different formats of printing data is retrieved, component information showing the graphic for using as a component of the overlay data is determined from the retrieved graphics according to an operator's selection, the data format of the determined component information is converted to the data format used when forming the image, the converted component information is recorded as the overlay data, the superposed printing data received from the superior device superposing onto the overlay data is converted to the data format used when forming the image, and the converted superposed printing data is superposed onto the overlay data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
