A gas lifter for a vehicle is provided to prevent foreign materials from being deposited on a connection rod by installing a protector in an outer side of the connection rod protruded from a cylinder. A gas lifter for a vehicle comprises: a cylinder(2) connected to one of a trunk room and a hood and filled with gas inside the cylinder; a connection rod(4) connected to one of the trunk room and the hood disconnecting to the cylinder and installed to be fitted into the cylinder; a piston(6) slid to be sealed in an inner circumference of the cylinder; and a protector(10) installed to surround the rod in an outer circumference of the cylinder.
