<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication apparatus which can perform wireless communication normally even if a wireless communication apparatus operating in a different frequency hopping pattern exists in the neighborhood, and also to provide a wireless communication method and a computer program. <P>SOLUTION: The wireless communication apparatus constituting a wireless network comprises: a pattern setting section for setting a frequency hopping pattern, while switching from a self-hopping pattern used for wireless communication in its own network to other hopping pattern used for wireless communication in other network during a predetermined period; a section for receiving predetermined management information from its own network or other network using a frequency hopping pattern set at the pattern setting section; a utilization time band analyzer 158 for analyzing reserved time band information included in the predetermined management information received at the receiver and indicative of a time band, when other wireless communication apparatus can utilize for wireless communication; and a section 170 for judging a time band when its own wireless communication apparatus can utilize for wireless communication, based on the reserved time band information analyzed at the utilization time band analyzing section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
