<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reformer for a fuel cell wherein a heat efficiency and a reaction efficiency of the reformer are improved by reducing a heat radiation amount to outside, without increasing the thickness of thermally insulating layers covering its reforming part and heating part. <P>SOLUTION: In the reformer 56 for the fuel cell provided with the thermally insulating layer 124 for covering a reforming part and a heating part, the reforming part 76 for forming a reforming gas to be supplied to a fuel cell by allowing to react with a fuel and steam with a reforming catalyst 84 and a heating part 80 for heating the reforming catalyst 84 and a thermally insulating layer for covering a reforming part and a heating part, an air passage (combustion air passage 126) for supplying the air used to combustion of the heating part 80 is arranged at the thermally insulating layer 124. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
