PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily observe the oven wall of a coke oven. SOLUTION: The heat insulation material 29 and 30 is wound around the outer circumference of the inner tube 11a and the outer tube 11b. Compressed air 26a and 26b is made to flow between the inner tube 11a and the outer tube 11b and inside the inner tube 11a separately. This arrangement makes the lance 11 lighter than conventional water cooling lances and controls the temperature increase in the inside of the inner tube 11a at the same time.
