PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a photographer from putting his (her) finger on the surface of a lens for forming a field image in an imaging apparatus for imaging a field. SOLUTION: The digital camera 1 that is one example of the imaging apparatus includes a light condensing part 3, a light emitting part 5 and a release shutter part 7, and is provided with a touch preventing means for preventing the photographer from putting his (her) finger on the surface of the light condensing part 3 by locking photographer's finger around the light condensing part 3. Therefore, the photographer is prevented from putting his (her) finger on the surface of the lens when taking a photograph, and the surface of the light condensing part 3 is prevented from being stained.
