<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monopolar membrane-electrode assembly. <P>SOLUTION: The monopolar membrane-electrode assembly includes: an electrolyte membrane having a plurality of cell regions; an anode support with a plurality of apertures on a first surface of the electrolyte membrane; a cathode support with a plurality of apertures on a second surface of the electrolyte membrane; anode current collecting bodies that are formed so as to correspond to the apertures of the anode support and provided with first current collectors, first conductive parts and first conductors; cathode current collecting bodies that are formed so as to correspond to the apertures of the cathode support and provided with second current collectors, second conductive parts and second conductors; anode electrodes placed on the anode current collectors; cathode electrodes placed on the cathode current collectors; and a circuit connected to the first conductors and the second conductors, wherein relation of connection of each cell region is changed through the circuit and the cell regions are connected to each other in series or parallel or electrically separated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
