<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material for forming mammalian artificial chromosome, a new vector with a possibility to be used in somatic gene therapy. <P>SOLUTION: The invention relates to the material for forming mammalian artificial chromosome obtained by introducing a DNA construct comprising a mammalian telomere and centromere wherein the centromere is provided with a sequence having a plurality of CENP-B box sequences comprising following sequences: 5'-NTTCGNNNNANNCGGGN-3' (wherein N is either one of A, T, C and G), into mammalian cell. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
