An antistatic fabric and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to give pleasant feeling to a wearer, by controlling the triboelectricity of the fabric so as to control dangerous elements due to static electricity actively. An antistatic fabric is manufactured by disposing covering yarns such that the covering yarns are distanced from warp yarns, weft yarns, or warp and weft yarns at a predetermined interval. The covering yarn uses a laminated yarn, which is formed by depositing a metal material(120) between synthetic resin films(110), as a core yarn. The antistatic fabric has a triboelectricity of 10-30V, and a half-life of 1.3-1.6 seconds. A size of the synthetic resin films is 6 to 10 micron, and a thickness of metal depositing covering layer is 60 to 90 nm. |
