<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toroidal type continuously variable transmission which easily and inexpensively eliminates lateral displacement between a pivotal shaft and the rotational center of a disc. <P>SOLUTION: In the toroidal type continuously variable transmission, posts 64, 68 are formed integral with each other for supporting the pivotal shaft 14 via a pair of yokes 23A, 23B to form one support 200, where a non-rotatable input shaft 1 is fitted and supported onto the support 200 without rattling in the radial direction. Namely, a structural supporting relationship is established between the input shaft 1 and the pivotal shaft 14 via the support 200 and the input shaft 1 and the pivotal shaft 14 are accurately and relatively positioned via the support 200. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
