<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal processing method capable of resolving unsatisfactory feeling associated by lack of energy, by interpolating energy which is lost when encoding. <P>SOLUTION: A signal processing device performs inverse quantization on an encoded sound signal or an encoded video signal in which a sound signal or a video signal is orthogonally transformed for each frame unit of a prescribed period. A coefficient judgement section 30 judges for each frequency band, whether or not, an orthogonal transformation coefficient of zero exists in the encoded sound signal or the encoded video signal in which inverse quantization is performed. When it is judged that the orthogonal transformation coefficient of zero exists in the frequency band, the orthogonal transformation coefficient related to a white noise source, is added to the frequency band by an adding section 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
