PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope processor for image-processing images imaged by an electronic endoscope so as to facilitate the visual confirmation of a desired object such as a lesion. SOLUTION: The endoscope processor has an image signal processing part 30. The image signal processing part 30 has an object pixel extraction part 32, an average value calculation part 33, a difference calculation part 34, an emphasis part 35 and a composition part 36. The object pixel extraction part 32 discriminates whether or not the data strength of the R data component, G data component and B data component of respective pixels is within a prescribed range, and the data component within the prescribed range is extracted. The average value calculation part 33 calculates the average value of the data strength of the extracted component, and the difference calculation part 34 calculates a difference between the calculated average value and the data strength of the data components in the respective pixels. The emphasis part 35 multiplies the calculated difference by the gain of a value larger than 1, and an emphasis value is calculated by multiplying it by the gain.
