An apparatus for providing a mobile internet broadcast and a method thereof are provided to implement all the complex internet broadcasting equipments in one equipment, to vary broadcasting sources by enhancing portability and mobility, to realize the internet broadcasting by one operation, to provide a user friendly UI, to widen the internet broadcasting and to provide an optimal solution in the era of one man media. An apparatus for providing a mobile internet broadcast comprises an encoding module(603), an image editing module(609), a live schedule module(611), a file schedule module(613), an uploading module(607) and a web server(617). The encoding module(603) encodes media sources by a format for internet broadcasting wherein the media sources are inputted via an embedded media unit or a dedicated connection cable. The image editing module(609) generates a content for broadcasting by processing and editing the encoded media sources. The live schedule module(611) sets up a schedule for outputting the encoded media sources or the content for broadcasting over the internet in real time. The file schedule module(613) sets up a schedule for broadcasting the encoded media sources or the content for broadcasting over the internet at a set time. The uploading module(607) uploads the encoded media source or the content for broadcasting to an allocated account of an IDC according to the live schedule module(611) or the file schedule module(613). The web server(617) operates a web page dedicated for the internet broadcasting. |
