The Present device is a plastic spill proof container designed to provide water to dogs while traveling inside automobiles. I currently refer to this invention as Auto Pet. The spill proof container has four main components listed as follows: - The first component is the container itself. The container measures 12 inches in length, 7 inches in width and is 4 inches in height. This is the current size of the container and it holds up to 3 1/2 liters of water. - The second component of the water container is the removable frame of the lid. The frame of the lid is located 1 inch below the top of the container, which wil l allow for 3 inches of space below the frame of the lid for storage of water. The first reason the frame of the lid is located 1 inch below the top of the container is to prevent water from running off the top of the lid, the second reason is to allow the container to be filled past the top of the lid for training the dog at home. The frame of the lid measures 12 inches in length by 7 inches in width, and is designed to fit inside the container. The frame of the lid has 2 openings which allow access to water. The openings in the frame of the lid measure 5 1/4 inches long and 6 inches wide. The openings are spaced 1/2 inch apart in the center of the frame of the lid .- The third component of the water container is the 2 movable flaps which measure 6 inches long by 7 inches wide. The 2 movable flaps are hinged to the underside of the center of the frame of the lid and can travel downward into the container to allow access to water. The movable flaps will be constructed from clear plastic to allow the dog to see the water inside the container. - The fourth component of the water container is a spring that will cause th e hinged movable flaps to return to the underside of the frame of the lid. The spring will be located in the center of the frame of the lid. Because the hinged movable flaps are slightly larger in size than the openin gs in the frame of the lid, water can not escape the container once the flaps have returned to the underside of the frame of the lid (closed position ).
