The proposed method for inducing the rhythmical activity of a neuron of a grapevine snail consists in extracting the nerve knot from the snail body, inducing the rhythmical activity by using cobalt or zinc salicylate, and monitoring the electrical parameters that characterize the activity of the neuron.
