A spring door closing and check device is attached to a plate 3 secured to a door 6 by means of a plurality of headed members 9, 9a, 10 extending from the body 8 of the device and engaging corresponding key-hole slots in the plate, one of the members, 10, being an axially movable shouldered pin which can be drawn into the body by rotation of a screw 12 to clamp the body against the plate. The pin is loaded by a spring 10a tending to move it outwardly, and has a circumferential V-section slot engaged by the conical end of the screw. Specification 756,210 is referred to. |
