<p>The invention concerns a system (1) for renovating a staircase (E) comprising an assembly of steps each initially comprising a tread (PM), a landing (CM) and optionally a nosing (NM). The method consists in providing for each step a new nosing comprising a profiled support element (3) including a nosing support portion and a nosing piece (2) likewise profiled comprising: (i) a recess arranged wherein the nosing support portion (30) is designed to be inserted, and (ii) an upper part (22) and a lower part (26) having their respective ends arranged to receive a tread board (4) and a landing board (5) respectively set on the original tread (PM) and landing (CM). The new nosing further comprises means (37) for fixing the lateral face (32) against a corresponding internal face (24) of the nosing piece (2), and the end (27) of the upper part (22) of the nosing piece (2) is located above the original tread (PM).</p> |
