HIGH CODE RATE TURBO CODING METHOD FOR THE HIGH SPEED DATA TRANSMISSION AND THEREFORE APPARATUS

A turbo coding method and apparatus suitable for high-speed data transmission are provided to improve the error correction capability by connecting recursive systematic convolution codes in parallel to configure a turbo code of high coding rate. An input bit string with a size m, in which m is an integer more than 2, is parallel converted. The parallel-converted bit string is coded by recursive systematic convolution codes to output m input bits and one first parity bit(316) as a coded bit string(306). The input bit string is interleaved, and then the interleaved bit string is parallel-converted. The interleaved bit string is coded by the recursive systematic convolution codes to output a second parity bit(320) as the coded bit string.
