<p>PURPOSE: An apparatus for removing scale contained in cooling water of annealing line is provided to improve productivity and simply carrying out scale treatment process by continuously removing scale contained in cooling water, thereby smoothly performing quenching of hot rolled stainless steel sheet. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a precipitation prevention part comprising a rotation shaft(11) rotationally installed at the bottom of precipitation tank(10) in a width direction, cruciform vanes longitudinally installed on the outer circumferential surface of the rotation shaft with being spaced apart from each other in a certain distance so that the outer front end of the cruciform vanes is contacted with the bottom surface of the precipitation tank, a driving motor(13) installed at one side of the precipitation tank to rotate the rotation shaft, a transfer screw(14) longitudinally arranged on the bottom surface of an end part inside the precipitation tank, and a step motor(15) for rotating the transfer screw; and a separation part comprising a catchment tank(20) put on the lower part of discharge pipe(16) connected to an end of the transfer screw of the precipitation tank so that cooling water discharged is collected in the catchment tank, a transfer pump(21) for pumping scale precipitated to the lower part of the catchment tank, a separation tank(30) for separating scale from the pumped scale contained cooling water, driving rolls(31) installed at the front end of both sides of the separation tank, driving motors(32) connected to the driving rolls to rotate the driving rolls, a screen mesh(33) hung on the driving rolls, a removal blade(34) adjacently installed to the screen mesh at one side of the driving rolls to remove scale filtered by the screen mesh, a collection box(35) put on the lower part of the removal blade to receive scale removed and dropped, and a cooling water tank(40) for collecting cooling water discharged through pipe(36) installed on the bottom surface of the separation tank.</p> |
