<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel tank capable of preventing an overflow phenomenon of fuel when filling the fuel. <P>SOLUTION: This fuel tank 9 is constituted of a tank main body 13 and a filler port 14. The filler port 14 is manufactured separately from the tank main body 13, and is joined to the tank main body 13 by an insert molding method. In the filler port 14, a filter 33 provided with a flange 33a is mounted. A plurality of lines of vent grooves 38 extending in the axial direction of the filler port 14 are formed on an inner peripheral surface of the filler port 14. The vent grooves 38 are opened in the vertical direction on the outside of the flange 33a in the filter 33.
