PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil member of various profiles which can be produced from a flexible substrate of fixed form while minimizing waste when a flexible substrate is cut out from a substrate sheet. SOLUTION: An annular flexible substrate 210 under initial profile having a cut 218 consisting of a slit or an opening is held in annular completed profile different from the initial profile by means of substrate holding members 321 and 322. Consequently, a coil member 200 of various completed profiles can be produced from the flexible substrate 210 under initial state of fixed form. Furthermore, the flexible substrate 210 under initial state can be formed to have a slit-like elongated cut 218 and bent to bring about a framelike completed state where the cut 218 is enlarged to have a large diameter.
